Getting old

So yesterday was a pretty ok day, It all went down hill when I ate my salad for lunch.  In literally the last year I've become allergic to tree nuts, not peanuts.  I'm not a big nut person in general, but yesterday I had a salad with pesto checking in it.  I got itchy.  My co-worker realized the pesto probably had pine nuts in it.

So they gave me some children's benedryl..I think I was better off being slightly itchy.  In fact I'm sure I was better off.  For literally the rest of the day I just couldn't seem to wake up.  I went home and at 9. I just crashed. and that was children's benedryl.  I think I've only felt like that after doing lots of shots at a dive bar.  I might need this for my next party.

Anyway I woke up today, with two slightly swollen stiff knees so no workout.  I had done 2 days in a row, so I"m ok with the day off.  Tomorrow instead of whatever my hybrid schedule her I'll do 21 day fix upper fix and piyo upper body.  Ill go back to my legs saturday.

No weight in today.  Usually i can tell if I've gained or lost, but meh..no idea.  I don't feel bad so we're gonna stick with that for now

Totally off topic.  I"m 41 and I like someone.  SMH again at this age you don't think you're going to say you in like with someone..but there it is.  Also at this age there are issues, so i'm not sure how it will go, but  enjoying it for now and just kinda needed to get that out in the world.

On my way home, on my benedryl high I had chick nuggets.  I was hungry and it was the only thing besides salad I could think might kinda be ok.  I got a bottle of water instead of my usual sugary drink so I'm ok with that.

Hoping it doesn't screw up my numbers for the week.  Weigh in will be Friday Morning.

1lb

Well this week end been a little wacky. I didn't eat anything I planned to eat. I didn't over eat and I think I made good choices all week. I only exercised once this week which I'm not entirely happy with, but I'm ok with that too. Back at it tomorrow (Saturday). So anyway. I know I haven't had the big 3-4 weight loss I had been having so I jumped on the scale. I'm down a pound( to 333) . Its nice because I haven't gained, but I would like to be firmly in the 320s by the end of the month. I have managed to stick to my lent goals with the exception of the 2 beef meals I've had. I will admit Applebees has been calling and it was rough avoiding the scallops with bacon but I'm ok. Funny who I can ignore the Ben and Jerry's and not the scallops. I wonder if it will get easier. Happy that I am not forming any new attachments with food. I do have a craving for hooter, but I think their salads (if you can call it that, more like salad dressi...
One of my new year's resolutions was to post more in my blogs, particularly my intuitive eater blog. So I bought a scale yesterday because I couldn't find one that was easily accesible when I wanted to know my weight. It is a Tanita Scale . It is the best scale I've ever used. easy, no wacky changing depending on when you get on and off and the alignment of the moon and stars. So in 3 months I've only lost 2 lbs. I really am not as upset as I probably would have been because I lost it eating supposedly bad foods and not being miserable. I bought the scale to keep me a little more focused and honest. More later
I decided to create this blog to keep track of my eating and kinda watch my progress since I think this time is a little different. Normally when Get back on the wagon I am extreme (less than 25 carbs a day) excercise 7 days a week, weights...You get the idea, but this time I said fuck it and would do it the way I felt I could do it. I would try and eat like I had some sense, excercise 3-4 days a week. I am on 3fatchicks.com and had previously been on a 21 day challenge that I could never seem to get past day 5. So I joined a thread for a 7 day challenge, but instead of consecutive days it was just pick how many days out of 7 you can do something and do it. So I did the excercise 3 days a week and I did it...LOL. The next week I added one serving of vegetables or fruit a day. During my second 7 day challenge I discovered a thread called intuitive eater. The basic premise is eat when your hungry and eat till your satisfied. You can have whatever you want, but don't eat based...
